Aside from being an excellent writer, I’m also highly skilled at producing terrible animation … a talent I discovered only recently. I’m happy to have found an artistic outlet that doesn’t require an abundance of artistic ability, and I’m grateful to the app developer for providing a tool (Rough Animator) that also didn’t require a great deal of expertise or prior knowledge.

My posting frequency has suffered a bit over the past few months, but I’m happy to report that this time it isn’t because I’ve gone tumbling ass over elbows down into the depths of depression again. A while back I mentioned that I’d set up an account on Fiverr.com, and it turns out there’s actually a market for terrible animation … who knew?? So between animating my ass off and having sub par time management skills, blogging has ranked pretty high on my Things To Neglect list. Continue reading

The days sure do fly by when you’re trying to find a way to call attention to yourself and your non-blog projects without appearing to be even more narcissistic than you’ve already revealed yourself to be. Fortunately, it occurred to me that if I replace my egocentric blathering with genuine admiration and a glowing review of another person’s work, in which I just happened to play a small part, I can ride her coat tails straight to The Land of Hey Look At Me!

But for the past few weeks I’ve been conducting a study to determine the efficacy of producing quality animation and short films while lack any artistic skills.
