If you’re in the market for a good deed to do, I’ve got a great opportunity for you. Aside from being an excellent writer, I’m also highly skilled at producing terrible animation … a talent I discovered only recently. I’m happy to have found an artistic outlet that doesn’t require an abundance of artistic ability, and I’m grateful to the app developer for providing a tool (Rough Animator) that also didn’t require a great deal of expertise or prior knowledge.

I’m neck deep in my 1000 Stories project and don’t have time for a post, so here’s another animation masterpiece to keep you entertained.
My posting frequency has suffered a bit over the past few months, but I’m happy to report that this time it isn’t because I’ve gone tumbling ass over elbows down into the depths of depression again. A while back I mentioned that I’d set up an account on Fiverr.com, and it turns out there’s actually a market for terrible animation … who knew?? Well would you look at that?! I can’t believe it’s shameless self-promotion time again. The days sure do fly by when you’re trying to find a way to call attention to yourself and your non-blog projects without appearing to be even more narcissistic than you’ve already revealed yourself to be. Fortunately, it occurred to me that if I replace my egocentric blathering with genuine admiration and a glowing review of another person’s work, in which I just happened to play a small part, I can ride her coat tails straight to The Land of Hey Look At Me!

I can never remember the blogging rules. When returning from a hiatus, do you acknowledge the absence, or just dive back in as though you were never gone? Or are you supposed to hang up your Gone Fishin’ sign before slipping out the backdoor?
